James: uhhh sure we can totally call it that. lol. Practice starts at 8am-11am and after we can all grab lunch!Life has been testing Regulus's resolve between balancing a social life and raising his deceased best friend's daughter; the last thing he needs is a random stranger texting him. When he receives a text from the wrong number, he gives a snarky response and thinks that's the end of it. He wasn't planning on continuing to text the stranger until he did. He didn't plan on falling for a stranger who made his brain turn to mush until he did. Add in his estranged older brother, and Regulus could use a break.

In the 1980's of Wizarding England, there was a serial killer who hunted in the darkness and lurked in the shadows. Also, at that time, there was a determined detective named Regulus Black doing all he could to catch the murderer.
He had his big brother of course, Sirius Black handling the wizarding world with a bare snap of fingers alongside with his lover, Remus Lupin.
Among all this chaos, Regulus met a stranger going by the name ‘James’ at a pub and from there on things would likely take a wild turn.

Summary
"Hello, I'm Remus. What's your name?" He sits down slowly in the chair across from the smaller boy and Regulus gazes at him warily.
"I'm Regulus." The little boy looks to Sirius who nods and turns to rummage through the bags in search of the booster. "Are you husbands?"
Remus laughs. Sirius loves Remus' laugh, it's gentle and warm, like a summer breeze through your hair.
"We will be soon. Is that okay with you?" Regulus shrugs and moves around on the chair to lean his chest on the table and fold his arms under his head, legs sticking out and pressing on tip toes against the seat of the chair.
"I dunno, he said I can think about everything." The little boy reaches out to touch the flowers sitting in a metal vase on the table. The vase was glass before Sirius left, and Regulus is gentle enough for him to wonder if the change was even necessary.
Or Regulus is 3, Sirius is 20, Remus is 24 and they all have to build a happy little family together. What happens when Remus's work gets in the way of his families safety?

Summary
Regulus spent most of his childhood learning about things children shouldn’t learn about. There was the cruelty, and the pain, but there was also the horribly boring stuff like French and Latin and the goddamn dictionary. Regulus was seven using words like insipid and derivative and reverence.
The dictionary says reverence means to admire and respect deeply. The dictionary is wrong; it was James Potter who taught him reverence.
OR
Lily confesses. Regulus has to watch.
