Summary
She ends her freshman year with zero starts to her name.
An anchor to her pathetically sinking status comes in the form of LSU contacting her in late April, a week before she has the option to enter the transfer portal. The offensive coordinator calls her directly — entirely unusual, but entirely flattering — and tells her they need someone who can think fast and throw faster; LSU is searching for a quarterback that isn’t afraid to take risks.
And, well, LSU’s current record is shit, but they’ve had quite a few stars fly from their nest. Big names. NFL names. And, more importantly, they want to start her. It’s all she needs to hear, really, because at the end of the day, she’s a damn good quarterback, and can do plenty with a start. Even if the rest of her team’s atrocious with a capital A.
Agnes accepts before the call ends.
Or: Agnes is a star QB, and Becka just might be the perfect right-hand man she needs.
