Yoo Joonghyuk marched up to the edge of the rooftop, and Kim Dokja whirled around when his footsteps reached his ears. He opened his mouth to say something but Yoo Joonghyuk cut him off by firmly clamping his forearm, his hand easily encircling the entire circumference of his pale wrist.
His eyes were wide, devoid of any light.
Yoo Joonghyuk’s steady, deep breathing became even more prominent in this heavy silence. His palm pulsated against the slender wrist in his grasp.
He watched Kim Dokja’s eyes alternate between his arm and Yoo Joonghyuk, the surprise delineated by his raised eyebrows.
“Get down from there.”

Summary
Rachel had always told Bam that he’d been born under a lucky star because he was naturally intelligent, but Bam always felt inclined to disagree. He never said so, because it was Rachel and she knew better than him, but Bam couldn’t deny the feeling of unspoken doubts teasing his tongue when she would say things like that.
A lucky star...
The scholarship Bam received had two eligibility requirements: one, the selection process was entirely merit-based, so grades and exam scores were the biggest determining factors; two, the recipient must suffer from “extreme socioeconomic disadvantages.”
In other words, Bam was accepted to the Ivory Tower because he was smart and because he was poor.

Bam is admitted to a prestigious school alongside Rachel, despite his shadowy past--a 10 year gap in his memories and several failed stints in the foster system. This is the closest to stable he's had in his entire life, and Bam is determined not to mess it up. He never expected to be adopted by a strange group of friends or to meet a kind blue-haired boy on his way home from school, and he can't help but wonder how he could be so lucky.
