Summary
Mel King was really, really good at being alone. She had Becca and they were really good at being alone, together. While writing a research paper on how to better accommodate neurodivergent patients, and with Becca spending more time away from their shared apartment, Mel realizes it might actually be nice to have some friends, if only to have someone read over her work.

Summary
Frank turned to face her again — and for the first time in their ten years, he looked at Mel as though he didn't know the person standing in front of him.
Her breath caught, lips clamped shut as if she'd already said too much and nothing at all, all of it years too late.
"Why would you tell me this now?" he asked, disbelief sharpening his voice. "Why would you even think I wanted to know that?"
Mel's mouth opened and closed around nothing, her grip on her racquet going slack. "I just... I wanted you to know."
Frank’s expression hardened as he stepped toward the door. “After this game,” he said, not looking back, “we’re done.”

Summary
Mike has finally made it as an author. But writing about your own past can get complicated, especially when fans start to draw conclusions that point Mike in the direction of the person he's been writing about all along.
And living life is hard. Especially when you're doing it all on your own. But grief and love are a lot more similar than you might realise. They both tend to wake us up from the monotony of our lives.
OR: Mike has a horrible time, which somewhere along the way turns into a wonderful time.

Summary
Eloise Bridgerton has thoughts. A lot of them. Mostly regretful ones. After falling out with Theo, quite possibly the most interesting person she has ever met (and a man, no less!), and her best friend Penelope in one fell swoop, it was like her life, her very existence, was thrown off-kilter. Fortunately, by the time her second season rolls around, she's patched things up with Pen... but she can't stop thinking of Theo's fond grin, sharp words and radical, unsettling ideas. Though they were friends for only a few short weeks, she finds herself longing to speak to him again. Luckily for her, Theo is still an assistant at Chancery Lane Printers, and has, against all his better judgement, been thinking about Eloise as well. As the stack of books grows ever higher, so do the stakes for our determined heroine.
Title is the English translation of a line from the original Rapunzel, as found in the 1813 publication of Children's and Household Tales (later known as Grimm's Fairy Tales).
