Summary
Oscar can feel it unravelling. Hiding that he’s an Omega used to be easy - stay in control, keep his distance, keep everything locked down.
But now the cracks are showing, the season is spiralling, and Lando is always right there when Oscar starts to fall apart. He’s either going to save him, or ruin him completely. And Oscar’s not sure he can tell the difference - or if he even wants to.

“Maybe you just need to learn to drive better. Maybe then Ferrari wouldn’t have dropped you.”
“Yeah?” Carlos asked, fiery. “Is that so?”
“Yeah,” Oscar said, all the confidence in the world behind his word.
“You really need to be taught when to keep your mouth shut, Piastri,” Carlos snarled. Oscar’s eyebrows raised.
“That’s cute,” Oscar was playing with fire. “Thanks for the offer, but I’ll pass.” Carlos let out a short, manic laugh.
“You know you’d beg for it,” he muttered. “You can’t get enough of me.” Maybe he couldn’t, but he certainly wouldn’t say that.
“I’ve always hated you, Sainz,” Oscar refuted. “Today was just the rude reminder why.”
OR: Oscar is in love with Lando, but there's one problem: he's an omega, and Lando is into alphas. Feeling bad, Carlos offers to help Oscar out. All seems well until they make a horrible mistake that may or may not involve two particularly well-placed bites.

Summary
Oscar’s focus comes back full blast when he hears soft, but quick footsteps and then feels two tiny arms wrap around his leg.
“Mister!” Oscar looks down and sees a little toddler look up to him with big shiny eyes. “Mister, I lost mommy”.
The McLaren driver tries to shake his surprise. He crouches down to be more at eye level with the boy. “Where did you see her last?” he asks. The kid just shrugs. He looks close to tears.

At the Monaco GP, Oscar finds a kid walking around the paddock unsupervised. He decides to help the polite boy find his mom but gets way too attached in the process.
Lando is here to help, Oscar thinks. And is definitely not a distraction…
