Summary
A few weeks after he overblotting, Jamil catches the flu. Trying to push through it proves to be a bad, and publicly humiliating, plan, and he eventually, unfortunately, accidentally finds himself in the sub-par care of his master. He does not appreciate the attempt. At the very least, not much.
Or : Kalim tries his very best to be a better friend while Jamil rejects his attempts at every turn for approximately 4000 words

Summary
As winter break has come and gone, the NRC decides to do their yearly student body health evaluation. It was a simple test of sight, hearing and mental faculties meant to shield the school from liability in the case that a student were to return with issues that they didn't have before, as well as a general survey of the people enrolled.
Having never had the chance to take such tests while being homeschooled, Kalim learns something new about himself.
It is not a day to celebrate.

Summary
Why was it that, no matter how much he begged, no matter how much he stressed he did not want something, Kalim refused to listen? Why did he never take an answer at its face?
Well, perhaps it had its purposes... Jamil didn't necessarily always say exactly what he meant, but... that was different! He really, actually didn't want Kalim to dote on him when he had a migraine! It was annoying and making his head hurt more.

Summary
It's Jamil's day off! For about two weeks, they've had a deal going - Kalim gets two days out of the week to be independent, and if he can manage that, maybe Jamil will consider letting him do more stuff by himself! Unfortunately, his body decides to have a flare up at the worst possible time, and he fails miserably at managing the previously mentioned independence...
He's going to lose this privilege, he's sure. Every time he tries to make Jamil's life easier, he fails.
He doesn't deserve autonomy. He doesn't know how to use it. He's no better than a pretty piece of china on a shelf - never to be used, only looked at.

Summary
Once again, the time to clean Kalim's room had come around. Jamil didn't bother to tell him - Kalim never cared about him going into his room without permission. It was just part of the job.
Kalim was, in fact, a little not okay with that. Though, perhaps, considering Jamil's reaction to what he found, it wasn't entirely unjustified.
