Summary
"Is this blood?" Arthur murmured, feeling some wetness on his fingers that were around Merlin's shoulder.
"Are those bandages?" Gwaine said at the same time, pointing at the white cloth peeking from underneath Merlin's tunic.
Arthur lifted Merlin's tunic to check. To his horror, he discovered his whole torso covered in bandages, while Melin lay limp is his arms.

"I heard – there was a way to get out of here without finding the end of the maze. It´s just a rumor so I kind of forgot about it, but -”
Arthur sat up at that. Little hope returning to him.
“Leon, why are you only saying that now? Go on, I can´t stand this damn maze anymore.”Leon crooked a small smile at that, uncomfortably with the expectation.
“Well – that´s the problem. It´s said that the solution is magical.”Arthur´s face fell as he sighed and groaned again. “So – we need a sorcerer. Isn´t it? Great, very helpful, Leon. Thank you for your genius insight.”
Leon shook his head eagerly. “No, not at all. It is said you only have to shout for the Hall of Judgment. Then you need to turn left, then right, then left again, then you have to walk through the next wall that comes in front of you and then you stand in a giant hall.
Rumor says, that we can choose one person here and then his ghosts and mistakes will judge upon him. If he passes the judgment, we´d all be allowed to pass through a door that leads us outside.”Arthur looked at him strangely. “That sounds made up.”
“It´s worth a try though, isn´t it?”, Gwaine asked with a grin.

Summary
Merlin was many things. Shy was not one of them.
It was hard to think of someone as shy when they wore torn clothes to battle instead of armor.
Even harder when said person decided he was above status and royalty and could just insult them as he pleased.
A man who happened to be the physicians apprentice and therefore could not afford to be shy.

Summary
A kingdom - long at war with Camelot - finally offers peace after a sworn enemy of Uther decided he doesn´t want his son to inherit a kingdom at war.
The peace offering is a magical item that reveals magic within people, no matter how small.
Arthur realizes two things during this period of time
1. he is surrounded by magic
2. most people don´t know that they have it
The one thing he doesn´t get is : where the heck is Merlin?Alternatively: the time Arthur was given the opportunity to bann magic from the realm ... and decided against it

Summary
When the King is attacked in his tent on patrol and falls into an unending sleep everyone is worried. What they don't know is that Arthur is fine. In fact he is standing right here next to them, watching them all fret over his prone body. To stave off the boredom whilst a cure is found Arthur takes to wandering the castle and soon discovered a hidden side of Camelot he never knew about.
Or: Arthur's soul gets trapped outside his body and takes to following his servant around. He gets an interesting insight into Merlin, his servant's life and just how much Camelot needs the man.

Summary
"Who dares defy me, the Last High Priestess of the Old Religion and rightful Queen of Camelot?!"
Somewhere in the further part of the peasant crowd a little commotion broke out as people presumably tried to move out of the way for someone. Morgana must have missed it however because she kept squeaking at no one in particular.
"Too much of a coward to come forth? Are you just going to hide behind all these peasants? That is quite alright with me. I will slaughter every single one of them until I have found you little rat. Guards!" As one all the mercenaries hefted their crossbows back onto the by now panicking crowd of civilians. Arthur could do nothing to stop it. He was utterly helpless against her magic and felt nothing but shame as he closed his eyes in front of the terror that was about to unfold. But then...
"NO. NO MORE."
________________________________In which Merlin is done, the citizens of Camelot are done and Arthur doesn’t understand the world anymore. When Merlin reveals himself, all seems lost to him. But he gets help from somewhere unexpected, which in hindsight he really shouldn’t be so surprised about.
