Work Text:
The summer air was perfect, even if it was annoyingly humid.
Mikey and Pete had been walking around for around thirty minutes, Pete's feet kicking rocks with gentle ease, and Mikey's eyes watching.
They were holding hands, and they could, this time, without prying eyes, public eyes, watching every little thing they do. Pete remembers how him and Mikey were holding hands getting off the Fall Out Boy tour bus, and had to let go, because there were people standing outside, waiting for them.
He (They) didn't have to let go now, in the dark, with large lamp post lamps every couple feet, weird noises from different directions, but didn't bother nor scare either of them.
Pete looked up from looking down at the ground, catching Mikey's eyes.
Pete smiled at him, and Mikey looked away with a smirk, like a shy teenage girl with her crush.
"You're blushing, Mikeyway," Pete said, and Mikey giggled.
"You're one to talk," Mikey spoke.
"I do not blush as bad as you," Pete responded, smile wide.
Mikey just huffed. And Pete thought it was cute.
There was silence by Nature, for a song.
"You wanna come back to my bus?" Mikey asked.
"Are you trynna sleep with me?" Pete joked (half, joked).
"Maybe," Mikey mumbled.
Pete smirked.
"I thought you said we did it too much?" Pete recalled.
"First of all, you can say 'sex', you're not fifteen, and second, I never said that," Mikey said, looking at Pete, right pointer finger pushing his glasses up.
Pete giggled.
"So . . . You do, wanna? . . ."
Mikey huffs
"Pete, seriously, how old are you? Say the fucking word dude, or we won't have sex,"
Pete laughs, then clears his throat when Mikey glares at him.
"Do you, wanna have sex?" He finally properly says/asks.
"Yes, Pete. I do," Mikey said.
"Okay then . . . But you'll have to be quiet," Pete says, smirking to see what kind of reaction he can pull from Mikey.
Mikey looks at him, giving him the death glare.
"I have no problem being quiet, it's you that has the problem, loud mouth," Mikey states, mumbling the last part.
Pete scoffs.
"Well, it's not my fault you fucking grip me so fucking tight, like you don't ever want it to end," Pete says.
"I don't ever want it to end," Mikey mumbles, and Pete almost didn't catch it.
Pete was about to respond, because he felt like Mikey wasn't just talking about the sex, but, an unfamiliar voice spoke;
"Uh, hi, uhm-"
"Holy shit!" Mikey and Pete both yelped at the same time.
The stranger stood just stood there watching. He had a camera around his neck.
"Dude, what the fuck, how are you evem allowed in here?" Pete asked.
"I'm a photographer," The stranger said.
"Oh," Mikey and Pete both said.
"I was wondering if I could snap a photo of you two," The stranger said
Pete lookec at Mikey, finding Mikey looking at him.
"What's it for?"
"College. I'm going to school for photography and film," The stranger said.
"Ooh, sweet! Yeah, you can totally take a pic, Mikey, are you fine with that?" Pete asked.
Mikey nodded.
"Okay, great. Uhm . . Get closer together, and movd just a little to the left," The stranger instructed.
Mikey and Pete did as they were told.
"Uhm, you guys, can smile, if you wanted," The stranger said.
Pete smile, and Mikey let a small smile appear
He took a couple photos, the camera shuttering.
He brought the camera down from his eye.
"Okay, all done. Do you wanna see?" The stranger asked.
"Yeah, sure!" Pete said.
The stranger walked over, and angled the camera so they could both see.
Pete had his arm wrapped around Mikey's waist, while Mikey had his arm wrapped around Pete's neck. Big and small smiles were present.
"I like them," Mikey said.
"Same," Pete said.
"Thank you, I try my best. Thank you for letting me take pictures of you guys,"
"Yeah, of course. and your name? . . ." Pete asked.
"Jeff," He said.
"Thank you again, Jeff," Pete said,
Jeff nodded.
"I'll be on my way, you guys have a good rest of your night," Jeff said.
"You too," Pete and Mikey said.
Jeff walked away, until he wasn't visible anymore.
More of Nature's silence.
"You wanna head back to my bus now?" Mikey asked.
"Yeah, wanna kiss you to the thought of our picture," Pete said.
Mikey scrunched up his nose.
"You're so fucking weird,"
"But you love it,"
"I love you," Mikey said,
"Same thing," Pete said.
Mikey rolled his eyes as they started heading fof Mikey's bus . . . .
