Work Text:

Warped Tour was ending in a couple hours.

And so were Pete and Mikey (well, thats what Pete's paranoia was saying to him).

Pete was panicking, bad. Mikey and him had never discussed their relationship (they lived within the moments when they were together, and never asked questions, what the future held was something Pete thought about alot while with Mikey, but he never brought it up since he didn't want to scare Mikey off (he . . . Loved, him too much (and he hadn't even told Mikey that he loved him cause, again, he didn't want to scare him off) and Pete always wanted to bring up what their relationship was, but, everything circled back to paranoia).

Pete was wandering around The Fall Out Boy bus, in the bus, circling around the bus outside; pacing.

"Hey," A quiet voice peeped from behind him.

Pete swiftly turned around, fast and jumpy.

It was Mikey.

"Patrick sad he was worried about you, are you . . Alright?" Mikey asked.

Fucking Patrick.

Pete swallows, there wasn't any saliva to be swallowed, just hollowed air.

"No- . . . No, I'm not alright . . " Pete says, his eyes staring a hole into Mikey, and Mikey doesn't seem to mind the hole Pete is making, doesn't flinch or cringe.

"You, wanna talk about it?"

Silence.

Crickets, actually crickets humming with small rattles.

Distant screams of fans, and slight booming music could be heard, but it was so quiet compared to the crickets.

Words just start pouring of Pete, our of order, in order of no order, fluent and coherent, but panicked and flushed (rushed words flew past) Pete's eyes began to water (but it's never fun water, either).

"I . . I don't- can't loose you Mikey. What is our relationship? Friends? Bestfriends? Boyfriends? Fuck buddies? Nothing? Is this just a summer thing? I can't loose you. I can't I can't I can't I can't . . . . "

Pete's words drifted off, and his voice cut itself off when Mikey steppd into Pete's space and hugged him hard. Holding him like he needed to (he did).

"You're not gonna loose me Pete. I'm not going anyway,"

Pete sniffled.

"I'm gonna loose you," Pete whispered,"

"Don't say that Peter," Mikey snapped. Mikey pulled back, getting a full vew of Pete's face.

"Warped Tour's ending, and- I feel like, we're going to end, because of it," Pete said,

Mikey shook his head, hands cupping Pete's face, kissing him with force, and they both sink (in).

Mikey pulls away.

"Just because Warped Tour is ending, doesn't mean we end. don't want us to end . . . "

Mikey takes a breath.

"I- . . I don't want this to be some, summer fling, I never thought it was to begin with. I . . I love you, Pete,"

Pete's face heated up, his heart did backflips and cartwheels.

He smashed his lips into Mikey, making Mikey giggle.

"I fucking love you Mikey Way," Pete said against Mikey's lips.

Mikey smiled . . . .
