"Because I swear to the gods if you have another fatal wound on a Saturday-"

"I mean, it's not my blood...?" Nico replied with a hesitant smile, hiding his black-oozing sword which was actively dripping blood onto the white faux fur rug.

Will sighed again, pinching the bridge of his nose-which Nico wouldn't be surprised if it bruised at this point-even harder. "And exactly whose is it?"

"Okay, that's not fair, you know how annoying those chickens are! And those roosters wake me up every morning!" Nico raised his voice a bit to reason.

Will flared his hands. "Nico! You know you can't butcher the hens every time you think they're disrespecting you, they have two braincells! We've been over this!"

Nico rolled his eyes and threw his sword down with a harumph. "She was totally judging me for tripping. It was her fault." Nico also raised a finger to make a point. "And I made sure I didn't kill your favorites! Or the one that lays the green egg-I like her."

Will stepped forward and grabbed the sword, walking and talking simultaneously towards the sink to place it in(he could hold it because of the leather handle Nico attached). "You only like her because when she was a chick she did tricks for you!"

"Yeah! Exactly! She's the only competent one!" Nico argued back. He stepped forward towards the freezer and pulled out two bags of freshly cut chicken. "We're having Della and Georgia for dinner. I'm making stew."

Will, with an exaggerated huff, stepped forward to grab Nico by the waist and press a firm kiss to his forehead. "You wound me. Make it with extra tomato."

Nico leaned up and planted his own kiss on the blond's cheek. "Was already planning on it."

Will stepped back and was already shaking his head while exasperatedly muttering. "I don't get why you had to walk across my new rug... I just got it this week..."
