Chaper one
My name is Jason Mandela, I am 17 years old and I am not like other boys. I dont manspread, and I eat my broccoli when my mom asks me to. The other boys dont like me, they call me a sissy. My only friend is Brian, he's a loner and emo!! He’s never had a girlfriend, just like me. That all changes this year.
Brian and I are PUMPED for school to start!! We had a boring summer of listening to Brian’s emo music and eating ice cream, but Brian got a new haircut so he looks SUPPER SNAZZY, i dont…i look like a NERD!! My hair is brown and my jeans arent trendy anymore, I'm such an average joe.. Today is the frist day of scool, and I have algebra first. I HATE algebra!!1 I walk into class and there are assigned seats, I look around and notice im sitting next to the hOTTEST blonde ever!!! The teacher takes attendance and i notice that her name is Holly. Thats such a pretty name.. She looks over at me and blush. She think im hot too maybe?? The algebra teacher tell us to talk to the person next to us about the problem, i look at holly and she looks at me. Her eyes glitter, mine glitter to. “So do you like algebra?” i say, i have a lot of rizz but she doesnt know it yet. “No i HATE algebra” she say, and i smile at her. “I hate algebra too!” “she smiles, her smile is so sweat. The teacher says “there is a project starting today, you work with the person next to you and it is homework”. Holly and I look at eachother “want to work on this after school today? We can go to my house” oh em gee! A GIRL just invited me over! I try to hide how excited i am “sure” i say. She smiles and i do too. The bell rings
I go to all my other classes, hoping to see holly in the hall but i dont see her at all! We must be in different classes. The end of the school day comes, holly had written her email address on my wrist. Its a little but smudged now, but i can read it. I get home and type her an email, she responds with her home address. Her house is within walking distance so i walk over to her house. She opens the door. “Hi Jason!” She says, she looks excited and I am too.
