“Hey Kat I have to go I’ll be back before you know it okay I’ll let you know when you can call me okay” Ei says grabbing my waist so tight into a hug. I can start to feel the tears falling on my shoulder.
“Hey Ei, it will be fine. You're gonna go there kick ass and be back here so fast okay. You can do that for me right?”
“Yeah, yeah I will be!”
“COME ON RIOT WE GOT TO GO GET OUR FLIGHT!” Fatgum yes from the car out front.
“Coming Fats! Sorry I love you I gotta go” Ei says as he places a kiss on my cheek.
“Love you too Ei, now go be the manliest hero out there!” I say as I do Ei’s signature fist bump.
I stay outside the dorms until the car is no longer in sight and I don’t have tears on my face. It’s not the first time he's gone for a mission. It’s just the first time he’s gonna be gone and he’s not allowed contact until the mission is complete or they are deemed safe.

It’s been two whole days with no contact from Ei and I still keep making food for him as if he’s still here. It’s starting to really sink in how he’s gone on his mission.
I’ve been keeping my eyes on the news and so far I’ve seen nothing. No one has even mentioned fatgum in their town eating their food in any of the food blogs either. What kind of mission are they on and how did they make Fatgum unrecognisable? The pro hero is easily 8 feet tall.
“Hey Bakugou?”
“Yeah Soy Sauce?”
“I was just wondering…”
“No I haven’t heard from him, or no I don’t care if you eat the food I made on accident for him. Dunceface just asked me this like 10 minutes ago. I thought you were beside him when I told him” I say not looking away from my phone.
“No Bakugou I was just wondering how you were doing. I know how I felt when you and Roki had that mission where I couldn’t contact him. Thankfully Kirishima was here to check on me so I figured I would check to see how you're doing?” Sero says as he comes to sit on the couch beside me.
“I’m fine Soy Sauce don’t worry about me it’s not your job so why would you” I say while still scrolling the news site hoping for an update.
“Bakugou you do realise we are friends or it might be the fact that I think we are friends and you don’t but that’s besides the point. I see you as my friend and I’m worried about you! That you're hurting during this and need help but your stubborn ass isn’t gonna ask for it!” Sero says as he puts his hand on my shoulder.
“I- I’m fine Soy Sauce just leave it alone” I can feel my eyes water. I have to hold it in because I know once I start crying I can't stop.
“Okay Bakugou I won’t press anymore but I will say this before I leave you alone. I'm always here for you. Here's the website Roki got a hold of when using his dads name you can listen to the police radio. I know your doom scrolling on news sites it’s what I did to keep an eye on Roki” Sero says as he pulls out his phone to text me a link.
“Thank you Sero…. Nope that felt disgusting to say”
“Wow bro you can’t even thank me” Sero says sarcastically.
“Like hell I can! no it was saying your name Idiot! Anyway Soy Sauce, are you able to help me out for a second I need to get some dishes cleaned and put away but last time I touched IcyHots soba bowl-“
“Ahhh yeah I got you he gets a little upset with certain things I’ll deal with the bowl” Sero says as he goes towards the kitchen.
“FUCKING THANKS BUT DONT INTERRUPT ME ASSHOLE!” I yell as I click on the link Sero sent.

It's night four without Eijirou, that it happens. I wake up shaking and trying to catch my breath. I'm covered in sweat and I can’t stop the tears from coming out.
Everything was fine, nothing was different today so what made me start to panic like this?
“** warp type villian ** in shi ** store robbery**”
It just kept playing broken messages about this warp type villain. All the memories kept flooding back making it hard to breathe.
I grab my phone. To check the time it’s some time after 2 maybe 3 my eyes are so blurry from the panic attack.
“Ei where are you? I need you!” I scream into my blanket as I cry harder.
How did I handle these before without him?
Breathe in.

Nope not working I just I can’t do this alone it’s so much harder alone! Ei please! just… I need you!
I start to calm down a bit after a few minutes and grab some tissues but I’m still so shaky and scared to go back to sleep.
*Ding*
I rushed to grab my phone so fast I’m surprised it didn’t fall out of my hands.
*new message*
Ei: hey love I got my phone back and I know your sleeping right now so I cant wait until your awake I love you!
*ring*
*ring*
“Ei I swear to fuck you better answer the god dam-“
“Hey love, why are you up?”
“Ei when are you coming home I- I need you!” I start sobbing uncontrollably.
“Oh Kats, are you awake because of a nightmare love?” Ei asks so softly and kindly.
“Yeah I am but when are you coming home!”
“Fat’s arranging the flight plan back home now he said we should be there by dinner time. Although once I get home I’m gonna want to eat and sleep. I'm exhausted” Ei says as I hear him stretch out and his back cracks.
“I’ll make you dinner and I don’t care what the extras say, you're mine when you get back”
“I know love and I’m sure it will be delicious but I need you to get some good rest so you can make me the best food in the world”
“I can’t sleep without you here. Plus my stupid quirk made it so I can’t sleep because my blankets are soaked” I say as more tears stream down my face.
“Okay love just breathe for me I know you're definitely not in the mood to tell me about your dream so do you want to hear about the mission?”
“Yeah, yeah I do I just want my mind distracted”
“Okay love, lay down on your bed and make sure you grab the shark stuffed animal and give it a good hug for me” Ei says as his phone is now on speaker he must be messaging the group chat.
“Okay I will”

Sero POV.
*Ding*
Sharkbro: Hey can you do me a huge favour!
Me: the fuck bro it’s the middle of the night and your first text to me is a favour!
Sharkbro: um yeah…. Sorry I’m safe and coming home later today but I need your help in the meantime.
Me: ahhh I see what does the Blasty boy need?

Okay it’s been about forty minutes since Kiri texted so that means I should be good to go into Blastys room now.
I open up the door as slowly as I possibly could while holding all of Kiri’s bedding except for the pillows.
When I look at the bed I see Bakugou laying on his side curled up in a ball with his phone lit up. As I got closer I started to hear Kiri.
“So then Fats ended up slipping on the squid that *yawns loudly* Suneater dropped and he left a dent in the restaurant floor thankfully the staff were so nice about it because Fats was also there highest paying customer all year so they had called and got the floor fixed but man-“
“Hey Kiri, he's asleep man you should get some sleep too I’m gonna move his phone and plug it back in do you want me to leave it on speaker so you can get some sleep hearing him snore” I asked.
“Yes man, thank you so much for helping out. I'll see you when I get back”
“No problem bro we help each other out. Now to get some sleep I’m going back to bed. Hopefully Shoto hasn’t freaked out since I left” I say while I make my way to the door.
