The green-haired male eyed the Captain who was on the other side of the net.
He stood along with the others watching the two teams go against each other.
The Captain, who ran into Yamaguchi a few times, sent a wink his way before continuing the game.
Yamaguchi blushed profusely as he hid behind his hands, clearly shy from the Captain's action.
"He was so hot and I don't know how to respond to that." Yamaguchi thought as he looked back up to peek another glance at him.
The bleached-haired male had his back to Yamaguchi, but that's all it took for Yamaguchi's mind to wonder.
The Captain's eyes met with Yamaguchi's again, and without expecting it nor being mentally prepared for it, the Captain blew an air kiss his way, causing Yamaguchi, who was clearly redder than a tomato, to gently bite his bottom lip while looking at him and did a small wave in response.
The Captain blushed and quickly looked away.
The two of them were too embarrassed to do anything else for the rest of the game.
At the end of the game, Yamaguchi was outside taking a breather, and heard a voice behind him say;
"Are you the cutie that was being shy in there?"
Yamaguchi turned around to see the Captain standing there with a smirk on his lips. "Uh, Yes, I-I am."
"Cool." He took out his phone and handed it to Yamaguchi. "Can I get your number? I mean, if you're single of course. I don't want no angry boyfriend on my ass."
Yamaguchi took the phone from him. "I-I'm single." Yamaguchi took out his phone and handed it to the Captain, who happily accepted it.
"What's your name by the way?" The Captain asked him while he typed in his contact information.
Yamaguchi also typed in his contact information as he spoke. "Tadashi Yamaguchi, and you?"
"Yuuji Terushima." The Captain handed Yamaguchi his phone. "But you can call me 'baby' if you like."
Yamaguchi handed Terushima his phone and grabbed his own phone from Terushima. "I mean... after we get to know one another properly."
Terushima put his phone away and nodded. "Of course. I'll text you later. Okay, cutie?"
"O-okay..."
Terushima winked before walking away, leaving Yamaguchi a blushing mess.
"He called me 'cutie' and gave me his number!" Yamaguchi mentally squealed inside his head. "And he has a tongue piercing!" Yamaguchi looked up to see the teams cleaning up, and looked down to the ground. "I mean... he is hot... I'm not going to lie about that. But he's really, really nice to me so this goes well."
After Yamaguchi finished freaking out, he went inside to help out and joined his teammates on the bus without saying a word about what had happened.
