Summary
“He wants to come home to something that isn’t a brainless, humping animal,” Jimin hissed, sitting up straight. “You have no subtlety. No class.”
“And you have no spine,” Jungkook shot back, scrambling to his knees. “You just sit there looking pretty and hoping he’ll throw you a bone. I go out and get the fucking bone.”
“You’re a disgusting pig.”
“You’re a frigid bitch.”
The words hung in the air, ugly and sharp. They were so consumed by their own rivalry, by the burning need to one-up each other, that they didn’t hear the soft click of the front door unlocking. They didn’t register the quiet, deliberate footsteps that approached the living room.
“Is that so?”
Taehyung’s voice was a low, calm rumble that cut through their bickering like a hot knife. Both boys froze, their heads snapping towards the doorway. He stood there, leaning against the frame, his expression unreadable, but his eyes… his eyes were burning with a dark, dangerous fire.
