    In a society where competitive speedrunning is anonymous and extremely dangerous, Infume tries to prove his worth as a pvper, yet the thrill and competitiveness of speedrunning still comes back to find him.

    On the other side of the coin, Hax loses the adrenaline that previously came with running, actively considering quitting the stressful competitive scene altogether, despite the feats he had accomplished.

    However, what happens when two rivals on opposite sides of the server, meet in a dream? Better question, how does it happen when Hax has aphantasia?

    Hax wakes up in the room, strapped to an office chair, hands are contorted behind his back and still wrapped in cold metal suppressors.

    There’s nothing in his field of vision but the sterile countertops, painfully familiar. A small creak and the click of a door unlatching reverberates, just out of sight. The door closes.

    Hax meets eyes with a dead man.

    Nerdi has the same smile as always, too-clean lab coat and clipboard.

    Or, inspired by hfhvau:re on tumblr, villain Hax is captured and tortured into losing his mind and changing sides, and Infume has to both 1. Make up his mind on right and wrong, and 2. Pick up the pieces.
