Summary
"Murdoc looks terrible—even more than usual. He’s disheveled and covered in monitors. Asleep, he looks nearly dead. If this man—this man who bought her a jetpack as a child, and kind of taught her how to drive, and never hesitated to cut down any interviewer who said the slightest thing inappropriate about her—dies after she yelled at him on the phone and abandoned him in jail, Noodle will never forgive him. Or herself."
Shortly after the release of Cracker Island, the band's good times are derailed by a medical mystery. Murdoc has an existential crisis, Noodle takes it upon herself to save her sort-of parental figure, Russel tries to keep the peace...and 2D realizes it's time to adult.

Summary
Alternate Universe where Stuart transfers to Murdoc's school. He quickly becomes friends with Tony Chopper and joins in on his harassment towards Murdoc. One day, Stuart stumbles across an old music room where Murdoc has been making music. They slowly become friends, but Stuart can't risk the gang finding out he'd been spending his lunch breaks with their favorite punching bag.

Trauma bond meets Found Family bonds. Band meets fame. Fame turns out to be a ponzi scheme of demonic bureaucracy that Murdoc is not prepared to deal with- Don't print that! It's under control!! The rest is music history... GLUG. Ah and the history of everything else as well... A proper romcom, all things considered.
Note: Pre-Phase 1, Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 are complete! This story will eventually encompass/work with canon up until the resolution of Phase 5.
