Summary
Jungkook is new to town and Hoseok is the first to take him under his wing. Hoseok is nothing but the kindest friend to Jungkook, until one day he decides not to pass up the perfect opportunity to tease him a bit.
Jungkook is wondering why he keeps seeing these neon heart lights in people’s windows all around town, so he asks Hoseok about it. Hoseok, wanting to tease him a bit, tells him that it’s to let everyone know that they’re swingers. Except Hoseok severely underestimated how gullible Jungkook is.
Instead of doubting Hoseok and laughing off the joke, Jungkook blushes. Hoseok debates telling him the truth, but he can tell that the idea intrigues the younger. So Hoseok ever so helpfully points out a specific house to Jungkook. And he makes sure to text Yoongi to let him know he might have a visitor and to not turn him away.
Jungkook doesn’t find out that the lights are to show that an emergency worker lives at that house, and that Yoongi is simply a nurse, until much, much later.
