Summary
You can't outrun small towns or big mistakes. You knew that well enough after graduating from Inarizaki High School in Hyogo. But you didn't just graduate, you left wounded. A part of your peace lives in that volleyball gymnasium where your life as the team's manager remained innocent.
It was a stupid rumour—but a harmful and impactful one. You never thought that a dumb post online, made by an anonymous student, would ruin the team. Everyone's trust broke, it broke you; it destroyed your trust, your reputation, and your peace; you essentially lost a part of yourself.
But after two years—now in your first year of university—you are more or less forced to get a job with the tuition you have to keep up with.
