“…Promise?”
“Promise.”
Sieun looked over the ledge again, gulping in a breath of air hoping to renew his confidence, tucking his head on to the man’s shoulder as an act of confirmation. As a result of trust. Mouth clamping shut to stop any possible chains of denial, resisting the need to back away if he ever came to that conclusion. He felt a hand coming to stroke his hair, patting it gently to settle the mess it had tangled itself in from the wind. Sieun shut his eyes and Spider-Man readied himself.

Yeon Sieun knows Ahn Suho - he knows how he preferred to sleep in class so he could never be late, he knows how he loves to eat his meat with some kimchi wrapped in a leaf lettuce and most importantly, he knows how he’s the kindest boy to have ever graced the Earth and along with that, Sieun’s life.
So when Suho starts acting differently, stops being someone Sieun had thought he knew, he makes a promise. A promise to dissect the new mystery that was his best friend, to protect and comfort him when he needs it the most and to stay even as the lines start to blur between Suho and the vigilante, Spider-Man.
