“Why does it not–” Kaveh’s voice ripped out in a whine. “Have you not thought about it at all since then?”

A long pause. The longest one yet. “Who says I haven’t?”

Lightning flashed through the window, illuminating Al-Haitham’s face. Half of it was still wrapped in shadow, blocked by Kaveh’s head, but he could see the distance between them measured, laid flat by the light. The lightning went. The room went dark. But the memory of Al-Haitham’s wide eyes did not leave him.

    What did he want?

    “Have you?” asked Kaveh.

“Have you?” Al-Haitham’s voice was so quiet, buried under the murmur of the rain.

Kaveh swallowed. “I mean…I thought that was obvious.”

Kaveh accidentally sleeps with Al-Haitham. And then...keeps sleeping with him.

What Alhaitham mistakes for ribbons are actually vines: verdant tendrils that curl around Kaveh’s limbs and bind his wrists above his head. Sprawls of greenery crawl over his freckled skin and spiral around his throat, his thighs, his hips.

And between Kaveh’s legs, a thick stalk fucking deep into his ass, pulling out moan after broken moan.

Kaveh discovers a creative use for his Vision. Alhaitham very much enjoys the sight.

“This okay?” Simon muttered, the vibrations from his words rippling across Grace’s stomach.

“Yes… yes I just…” Grace struggled to catch his breath. “This was not how I was expecting tonight to go.”

Simon paused his kisses. “How did you see this going?”

“I don’t know. We would… talk about it?”

“Do you want to talk instead?”

Grace couldn’t even remember what he wanted to say. Actually, there were no words that described what he wanted. “No. No, keep going.”
    -----
Or Eridians find Simon's submarine while spreading Astrophage to the galaxy and bring him back to Erid. Grace has to change his normal routine to help this new human adjust to life. Slowly, they get to know one another, despite Simon potentially being a war criminal from a moon with an ocean full of blood. Simon has a problem. If it’s left up to him, he’ll try to take it to his grave.
Grace isn’t able to try the same, not for this.

    ——

Simon can’t tell if Grace actually glances down to his lips as he puts his glasses back on his nose or if it’s just his own wishful thinking, as it happened in the blink of an eye, if it happened at all. “I, uh, was wondering, only if, well, I-,” Grace quickly averts his gaze, shaking his head with a nervous laugh, “You know what, never-”

Still reeling too much from his debatably imagined glace, Simon reaches across Grace’s space, placing his hand down in the space between Grace’s thigh and his hand. “Use your words, Grace.” One of his brows twitch, not nearly as patient as Grace is. “I hate guessing games, so spit it out.”

The nervous grin never leaves Grace’s lips and the bulb above the stove highlights the way blood rushes to his cheeks.

Simon didn’t expect his savior to be exactly his type.

What a welcome sight. Even if this stupidly handsome man ends up being evil, or working for the C.O.I, at least he’d die looking at something good.

Grace and Rocky find Simon's ship floating in deep space on their way to Erid.
