Complications always arise during each battle, resulting in the Dragon’s continued existence and threat to the Overworld. Notch finally decides to join them for a final battle, but it all goes wrong, resulting in Notch trapped in the End.
Steve and Herobrine regroup in the Overworld, but Herobrine must ask Alex for help when unexpected events force his hand. Eventually, Herobrine, Steve, Alex, and Notch find themselves in the End, finally hoping to put a stop to the Dragon and its plans once and for all.
...But there’s always a complication.

Chapter 2: Alex is sure that giant, soul-eating monsters come out of nowhere to ruin everyone's day. She's absolutely sure that it happens all the time as a completely normal phenomenon.
Chapter 3: If Alex has to teleport one more time, she’s going to flip out. At least no one gets maimed this time. Too bad the coming storm guarantees otherwise.
