When he finally reached room 309, Higuchi’s warning echoed in his head: "Knock once. If he growls, run." Atsushi raised his fist, hesitated, then decided Dazai’s wrath was worse than Akutagawa’s temper. He pushed the door open without knocking.
The sight inside short-circuited every brain cell he possessed.
