Edit, August 5: I've decided to abandon this fic; I wrote myself into a dead end with it and don't know where to go from here. I've tried to write the next chapter 5 times so far. I just can't figure out how to continue this. I've grown vastly as a writer since I started this, and I think I'm just going to make a new chatfic instead of continuing this one.
