Austin just wants to sleep. Between AP Calculus, trying to maintain his 40% three-point average under Coach Redick’s suffocating gaze, and pulling a stray bullet out of his own shoulder at 3:00 AM because Queens never sleeps, he is running on pure, unadulterated fumes.
Enter Luka Dončić: the shiny, golden boy transfer student from Slovenia who has everything, wins everything, and spends approximately 90% of his day breathing down Austin’s neck. Luka is annoying, overbearing, and strangely hyper-fixated on why Austin keeps missing basketball practice. When Luka corners him in the locker room, Austin thinks his secret identity is blown.
He didn’t expect Luka’s actual conclusion to be infinitely worse.
