Summary
A loud cracking sound came from deep in the forest. All three of their heads shot up to gaze into the darkness. They stood there for a few moments, frozen like deer.
“Could be a dead branch falling.” Robin whispered.
Nancy’s fingers twitched toward her rifle.
Then, a scream.
—A Demodog is spotted out by Lovers Lake, it's the first sign of the upside down anyone's seen in months. Nancy and Robin have something tentative, delicate, but the pressure of keeping things under wraps while the darkness presses in on them, it's another pressure entirely. Unfortunately, everyone is reminded of just how dangerous the monsters in Hawkins can be.
Follow up to 'Made it out alive.'

Summary
Robin blinked rapidly. “Uh, yeah. I don’t know.” She looked Nancy in the eyes. “I just think I’m lucky to know you is all, like this.” She smiled. “Who would’ve thought we’d get along so well… and it never would’ve happened without—” her hands went up in the air again, gesturing around them. Nancy knew what she meant. The rubble that used to be their town. The dead kids in the ground a few miles from here. The evil, pure evil, that lurked somewhere beyond and below them. Nancy would’ve never known Robin without it. Not really. But..
“Maybe we would’ve met, really met, some other way.”
Robin's lip quirked. “You think so?”
As summer turns to fall, Nancy experiments with healing her trauma by giving into what she wants. Robin, for her part, has a soothing reading voice and constantly wet hair.Series

Summary
It’s 2009. Beca is doing well. She’s a student at Barden University, she has a well-paying part-time job, and her friends are always around being generally sweet and annoying.
Then she meets Chloe. Chloe is perfect by every definition. She is pretty, kind, and happens to run bible study every Friday at the coffee shop Beca works at.
Sometimes things just happen, whether you plan for them or not.

Summary
A small sappy glimpse into Dina's perspective on her and Ellie, now and then, as they settle into the house.
A one-shot I found in the docs that I realized I'd never posted that shocked me with how much I liked it in the re-read. A nice piece to tide you over as we wait for new TLOU things to release.

Summary
“It’s just you work here one night and practically make a rent's worth of tips.” She glanced at Shelby. “Guess it pays to be pretty and blonde huh?”
Tonis' tone was one of spite and Shelby scoffed, covering the initial shock of the insult. She looked directly at Toni as she said–
“Maybe if you were more likable they’d tip you better.”
———
After high school, Shelby leaves Texas in a whirlwind of grief and screaming matches. California is calmer, but she’s missing something. When her friend Dot gets her a waitressing job at her cousin’s restaurant, she’s all for it— despite the fact that not everyone seems to be so welcoming.
Or— Shelby is gay, Toni’s trying to quit smoking, and Willie Nelson has a certain song about cowboys.

Summary
Nancy and Robin spend a summer together after Nancy shoots Vecna into hiding. Spending time around Robin is easy, and Nancy leans on her, even as her own feelings veer toward the unfamiliar. Though, as the seasons change and things get dark again in Hawkins, Nancy will have to reckon with how much of herself she’s willing to commit.
—Actually just a super indulgent post-season-4 series where Nancy and Robin spend a soft summer together before another end of the world. Fluff to angst essentially.

Summary
There’s that feeling before the drop, the instinctual part of her that says 'find them and don’t let go', don’t turn your back. It’s been a flickering feeling that will hit her with force some days, some odd moments when she wakes up in the Wheeler’s basement or finds herself alone in her room. But it’s always been blind panic, her body reading it wrong. This is real, and now.
Robin finds Nancy and Steve finds her, baseball bat already in hand.
“He’s here.” Will whispers, helpless.
Dread hits Robin like a bowling ball to the stomach. 18 months of borrowed time, gone like smoke.

Summary
“You don't have to hide it,” Nancy says. “You’re dating.” (It doesn't feel weird in her mouth, she tells herself). “You’re allowed to tell me about your girlfriend."
Robin bites her cheek and passes the bottle back and forth between her hands. “I know,” she says, small. “Guess I'm just not used to it, is all.”
“Well, consider this an exercise,” Nancy says. “Tell me now.”
She waits a long time for Robin to respond.
“I don’t really think she wants me.” The admission is barely a whisper.
“What do you mean?” Nancy wants to tell her, of course she does, how could anyone not want you?
Robin stares at her knees. “When we... mess around, she doesn't touch me.”

Summary
“Are you flirting with me, Nancy Wheeler?”
Nancy turned the color of the berries she and Robin had spent the whole morning picking.
“N-No,” she gasped. “No, I was just—I wasn’t—”
“It’s okay, Nance,” said Robin, flashing a toothy grin that bloomed into a soft laugh. “It’s not like I mind.”
Nancy looked at her incredulously. “You…You don’t?”
Robin shook her head. “I’m flattered. Everyone knows you’re the most beautiful woman in Hawkins. It’s kind of nice to pretend that you might want somebody like me as frightfully as we all want you.”
OR: the one in which Nancy Wheeler is the God-fearing daughter of a close-knit community’s corrupt pastor, and the things she longs for Robin Buckley to do to her would make even the Devil blush.
