    Summary

It’s been ages since they have seen each other. Years have gone by and Yushi had changed.

He changed a lot of things

    The way he looked.
    The way he talked.
    His name.
He moved to a different city.

    He changed everything he could.

For everyone around him the past Tokuno Yushi didn’t exist and everyone who did know was left behind by him, or so he thought.

The one thing he couldn’t change were his dreams.

It’s been years and he thought he had forgotten him, been over him a long time ago.

    But his dreams said otherwise.

Because even after years he could never forget him.

So there he was, Kim Daeyoung by his side like Yushi had always wanted.
That’s how he knew it was a dream because the real Kim Daeyoung would never look at him the way this one did.

In fact the real Kim Daeyoung wouldn’t even know it was him… or would he ?

Choi Yeonjun never believed in humanity. Choi Beomgyu never believed in the pessimistic view of life. So what happens when an utterly pessimist boy meets a person who tries to enjoy life to the fullest? Two similar childhoods, yet exactly contrary, two completely different decisions taken on how the two boys each used their childhood as todays interpretation of themselves.

    Summary

“Have you ever heard about the origami hearts tradition in the hospital?”

Taking the heart, the child excitedly inspected it, nodding in glee. “Yes! My mama told me that when someone leaves the hospital to go to heaven, we all fold a paper heart for them! Like this, like this!”

“That’s right,” chuckled Soobin. “But do you know how it started? It started here, in this room. From a boy who used to fold a paper heart every day for his lost love, hoping each one he makes will take him closer to the day those eyes would open again.”

"Unfortunately for him, the day never came."

In other words, a hopeless love story of two childhood best friends who didn't realise what it meant to have each other until it was too late; compiled of yearning, loss, forlorn hope, unrequited love, and every tragedy in between.
