Summary
"You said the universe kept putting us together. Why not test the theory?" He holds out his hand. The urge to solidify this point with something concrete, something real and formal, should be ridiculous. But Harvey is sick of curtailing himself, making himself smaller. Harvey is sick of not knowing what the fuck he wants. "I want to be friends with you."
A beat passes, two. Harvey is wondering what has gotten into him when there's pressure on his palm, when Sophie squeezes, gives one solid shake.
"You're gonna fuckin' regret this, I hope you know that."

Summary
It’s difficult being the odd one out in Pelican Town.
Even after living there for five years, Harvey still feels like an outsider at times among such a close-knit community. He’s just never felt like he really fits in, instead spending most of his time in the clinic or alone in his apartment. And with a sometimes taxing job and an always anxious mind, he doubts that routine will change anytime soon.
Kate needs a fresh start. After leaving a fruitless career at Joja Co., she decides to take over her grandpa’s old farm in Stardew Valley and finds herself among friendly but no less unfamiliar faces who all seem to have such high hopes for her. As much as she wants to settle into the quiet, comfortable lifestyle of Pelican Town, she still feels lost somehow.
But maybe the valley can still give them both what they need.

Summary
When he turned back, she was unbuttoning her blouse. She wore no undershirt, just a plain black bra. Typically, she wore T-shirts and rolled up the sleeve. That day, she had to undress...
(Harvey was a professional. The human body was his bread and butter; there was a mundanity to nudity when you dealt in anatomy. In his life, both in his practice and out in the wild, he’d seen many shoulders. Many stretches of soft skin. Many black bras. But there in that office, that cold, humming room, her eyes soft on his face, it felt like the very first time.)

Not long after near-death in the mines and that night in the clinic, the Farmer all but disappears from the face of Pelican Town. Then, she misses the last appointment for her rabies vaccination.
The Doctor will not stand for this.(a sequel to not tame, but tender.)
