Last ch is 10
Robby left for his sabbatical and Dennis is house sitting. Dennis sends a shirtless selfie and an awk message accidently to Robby. He replies a little flirty. Then sends an awk voice message later when Dennis doesn't reply. They keep texting and then call each other. Robby is in Nebraska.
They talk on the phone often.
Robby gave money to Trinity for Dennis and her to go out clubbing. He has a panic attack after kissing another guy but imaging Robby.
Dennis tells Trinity a story of his past while in college. Mason and Dennis had a friends with benefit thing that was very hidden. Mason was drunk and blackmailed Dennis when he tried to end their thing.
Robby and Dennis chat/call often while he's on sabbatical. Robby comes home early because Dennis asked him to show him around Pittsburgh. Trinity warns Dennis about having a broken heart. He lashes out and they haven’t spoken for a day. Robby comes home and Dennis and Robby learn about each other over a drinking game. They had a moment before Robby pulled away and went to bed.
Robby shows Dennis the city. They go to a lake that Robby and his grandma used to go to. They grab food and Dennis buys a wooden duck for Robby. The next day, they spend it at home. Dennis is reading a book and Robby is remembering/practicing his guitar. They are also flirting with each other. Robby teaches Dennis how to play Falling in Love on the guitar. They makeout and have sex. The next day, Robby comes back to work from his sabbatical and sends Dennis to triage. Dennis tells Trinity what happened between them. Robby yells at Dennis for helping a kid in triage who fainted. Dennis is pissed and talks to Robby. Robby says he can't be a great doctor and looking at Dennis all day. They meet up at Robby's house and talk about what they want. Robby wants to see where this goes but quietly. -

Last ch 4
Dennis has COPD which affects his air sacks in his lungs and bronchitis. Risk from farm work. Trinity knows but Dennis hasn't told Robby his bf yet.
Dennis goes out with coworkers, drinks, dances, does karaoke. Has a wonderful night with Robby with him. It's cute fluff. Robby still has no idea.
Cutr chill day at home with Robby. He asks Dennis to move in. Dennis of course says yes. He's gone roughly 48 hours without taking his meds. -

Robby is in a very bad place
They broke up 10 years ago
Robby did something unforgivable, we don't know what yet.
Dennis MIA
We know he is a neurosurgeon
Broke off his engagement. Trinity slapped Robby bc she thought he had something to do about it. Robby didn't know he was engaged.
We finally find out what caused the breakup. Terrible awful fight on their anniversary. It seems like Robby's been an ass for a while and it finally exploded. Robby enjoyed seeing Dennis broken and it's messed up.
Robby emails his pen pal. Of course it's Dennis. He freaks out and calls Trinity. She mentioned it to Jack. Dennis responds to his pen pal. He'll visit Pittsburgh for Trinity's birthday. Dennis lives in Minnesota and is a surgeon.
The gang got back together in Pittsburgh to celebrate Trinity's birthday. They are a bit tipsy and having a good time. Everyone knows about Dennis and Robby being penpals. Jack even asks Dennis directly when they are away from the group. Jack and Robby had a little relationship in college but it didn't work out. Robby thought he was going crazy thinking it was Dennis in the email but concludes it couldn't be. Robby enters the bar, Dennis leaves the stage to run into Robby's arms. -

Last ch is 14
Dennis is a guitar teacher and MS 4
Harper (Jacks kid) starts taking group lessons and now mainly does solo lessons at their own.
Jack and Dennis both are figuring out what feelings they have for each other. Harper knows her dad likes Dennis. Robby knows Jack likes Dennis.
Jack ran into Dennis at The Pitt and both kinda freaked out.
Dennis is about to start his Ed rotation soon and hasn't told Jack yet. Robby brought it up to Dennis.
Jack's band performs at a five bar. Dennis goes and has fun. Jack and Dennis end up dancing together and have a cig break in the alley. Jack kisses Dennis and Dennis freaks out by telling Jack he's staring his ED rotation on Monday. They awkwardly talk about what they are doing and it goes poorly. Jack tries to reach out via text, Dennis ignores bc he's a lovestruck dummy.
It's Pittfest day and it sucks. It's Jack POV and he thinks about Dennis even during chaos. Dennis finally responds back to him.
They finally talk and Jack clarifies he wants to date Dennis. They briefly mention telling HR. They make out in the kitchen. Jack goes to therapy to talk about Pittfest and Dennis. Therapist totally knows how Jack is hwad over heels dor Dennis. J & D finally plan a date. They are both flirty over text and Harper calls her Dad out on it. Santos learns Dennis is going on a date with an attending but not who.
They are nervous about the date in adorable ways. Jack talks to Harper about him going on a date with Dennis. She's happy. The date has many road bumps but they still enjoy themselves. Robby texted the pirate flag which means rough waters to Jack. It's like sos.
