Summary
An alternate universe retelling the events of Augus and Gwyn meeting each other, if Gwyn had been raised to be a Master Mage. The Raven Prince - an unseelie fae King - finds a mischievous way to see if he might train Augus up into the role of diplomacy - something Augus had zero interest in and honestly would much rather be back in his underwater home - with Gwyn ap Nudd, the King's executioner, psychopomp, and ne'er-do-well as his bodyguard. He starts first with a ruse, and then with the truth, in The Nascent Diplomat, which plunges Gwyn and Augus into a foreign closed culture that communicates and feeds primarily off intimacy, in all its forms, and threatens to expose a great, devastating secret that will change all their lives going forward.
The series is ordered in both chronological in-world order and intended reading order.

Summary
Max Noble didn’t have time for pets.
He was a businessman on the go, in New York one night and Los Angeles the next, going back in time crossing time zones to be in Sydney, Australia and then be in Tokyo, Japan on the same night he had been in the States. Jet lag was for people who could afford it, and while Max Noble had money to spare, he had places to be and important people to meet, and their time was worth just as much money, if not more.
Max Noble didn’t have time for a dog or a cat or anything with fur. Dander made him sneeze and he didn’t feel like paying someone else to take care of, train, and feed a pet that he barely got to enjoy.
