“And I'm sorry I'm making you worry about me,” Jongseob bites on his lower lip, not wanting to look up. His jeans are more interesting than the guy next to him. “I know you have so much- You have so many things to worry about, and I'm doing nothing but adding even more to your list. Sorry,” he frowns, that weird feeling in his throat makes him swallow visibly.
He looks up immediately when he feels Shota's hand on his own. The touch is electric, making him shiver.
“Don't be sorry, that's me who's choosing whether to worry about you or not,” Shota says quietly, looking him in the eye. “And don't you dare think about yourself as a burden,” he squeezes Jongseob’s hand slightly.
When he says it like this, it somehow makes everything even worse.
Because what do you mean everyone knows what he's thinking about? Is he really that obvious?
or Jongseob is trying to convince himself he's just making everything up and they're just friends. They are definitely not.
