Summary
Once upon a time, Akko and Diana were best friends... until tragedy tore them apart.
A once aspiring Olympic figure skater, Diana Cavendish returns to Toronto, CA to attend Luna Nova University for both the renowned figure skating program and to study medicine with the hopes of eventually taking over her mother's local hospital. There, she's reunited with her childhood best friend Akko Kagari--now Captain of the Luna Nova Hockey team--and the two must come to terms with what their relationship once was and, ultimately, what it will become.

Summary
Diana is beautiful.
This is just a fleeting thought as Akko stares up at her girlfriend. Her alabaster skin, smooth and creamy and glistening with sweat. Blonde hair that glistens in pale moonlight that streams in slotted ribbons through Akko’s off-kilter blinds, a golden halo framing a freckled face contorted with both heated desire and concentration. Clothes litter the bed, the floor. Casualties of heated passion, of desperate desire, of a night of can’t-get-them-off-fast-enough and can’t-touch-you-soon-enough.
These are Akko’s favorite nights.
She hopes they are Diana’s, too.

“It’s a good thing we have a month, because we’ve got our work cut out for us,” Akko says, slipping the DVD into her bag and finishing the last bit of a beer that had gone mostly ignored during the movie. “At this point, I’m pretty sure we couldn’t convince a blind person that we’re together.”
Diana does not object and is, in fact, thinking that she was right the other day.

Summary
You're not supposed to find your roommate, best friend, and the only person you can tolerate school events with attractive. That's rule number one.
If you break rule number one, then under absolutely no circumstances should you admit to it. Vi knows the rule; she wrote it after first meeting Caitlyn Kiramman halfway through their freshman year at Piltover-Zaun University.
She has a good gig. Caitlyn is funny, sweet, kind, and she does her dishes without being asked. They have similar courses. Their friends all get along.
Sure, Caitlyn likes to thread her arm through Vi's when they walk, and she always wants to sit next to Vi anytime they go out. But that's just what friends do. So when someone jokes again that Caitlyn and Vi are dating and the taller girl just laughs it off, Vi always laughs too. Because you can find your roommate attractive, but you can't do anything about it.
That is until election results lead to Vi finding a very drunk Caitlyn just sitting on her motorcycle. Outside. In the dark. Where Caitlyn is very much not joking.
