The curtains that had previously covered the balcony doors were pushed back, allowing moonlight to stream into the room and spill over the piano in the corner. Maggie blinked. She must have been really out of it earlier to have not noticed the large instrument in the corner.
Seated at the piano was Doctor Alex Danvers. Her fingers cast flickering shadows in the moonlight as they danced lightly and expertly over the keys.

River Song is a terrible historian. It’s what makes her such a good archaeologist.
