Summary
Patroclus bitterly yet efficiently serves as Crown Prince Achilles' retainer and future Royal Advisor, their friendship long disintegrated into the petty co-dependency it is today. Sirius looks like he was born to do this—flawless, slow-burning. All sculpted jaw and wild grin, a lock of hair slipping over his cheek like an afterthought, silver eyes roaming the crowd with the kind of arrogance only rockstars and fallen gods possess. Remus feels it like a jolt to the spine, static humming under the strings of his bass, gaze on Sirius, who looks at him like a promise, like something inevitable.
