People knew, obviously. Doyoung burst into his room one time asking why he didn’t just confess to Jihoon, having caught Hyunsuk pining over Jihoon for the fifteenth time that week, in awe over his teaser photos for their debut concept. Hyunsuk’s answer was that Jihoon didn’t like him back, wouldn’t like him back and most of all, couldn’t like him back.

Summary
On a cold summer day, the kids in the dorm forces Hyunsuk to treat them after the older lost a bet the day before. But the kids are not yet satisfied, they made the older share a cup of ice cream with an unknown stranger that's two tables away from them.
Little did everyone know, the moment that Hyunsuk shared the ice cream with the stranger, they also had shared the same feelings for each other.

Summary
He was waiting for Jihoon to say things that he could relate to. Things that he could remember they did, things that made sense for Jihoon to miss and he would be willing to do it again. He would be willing to do it again with him, until he will say that he no longer misses them.
But he couldn’t, because he couldn’t do it along with him again when they never did it in the first place.
