A montage of all the times the Dursleys had said ‘boy’ to Harry throughout his short life played in his head with Harry’s body always in some form of injury. His age changing but the adults screaming at him didn’t. Snape startled when he recognized Petunia Evans, realizing that the boy must have been placed in her and her family’s care after Lilly and James’s deaths.As more and more images of punishment flashed through in front of Snape’s eyes, Severus couldn’t bring himself to turn away from the images of abuse.
