This time it was Wooyoung who interrupted him, the dangerous glint back in his eyes, pointing a singular menacing finger. “If Sannie says we are helping you, we are helping you!”
Next to him San just smiled serenely, fiddling with the rings on his boyfriend’s hand as if it was completely normal to be treated like a princess who had just declared law.
This evening was so fucking weird, it had to be said.

Wooyoung and San are in love and like to make it everyone else’s problem. Hongjoong just realised he is very gay. Yunho makes sure to not-help with very vague hints before fucking off to enjoy the show from the sidelines.

Summary
“What are we doing, Hwa?”
A fair question. They are supposed to be broken up. Seonghwa broke his heart and Hongjoong probably hasn’t forgiven him. Officially, they aren’t together, but that doesn’t seem to mean anything considering they’re right back where they started. Seonghwa thinks he knows exactly what they’re doing. In the words of Wooyoung:
“Crashing and burning,” he replies, barely above a whisper before chasing Hongjoong’s lips again, being met halfway with a hum of agreement.

Summary
San’s parents were soulmates. Before he learned anything about soulmates in elementary school, he knew what it meant. Soulmates were fated, born for each other, to be with each other. Soulmates were beautiful. He remembers the pit in his stomach when his teacher explained that most people didn’t have a soulmate. He watched his mum and dad every day, saw the way they moved around each other, worked together, and loved each other from the depths of their souls.
He couldn’t imagine not having that for himself, and for a long time, he looked to the sky every night and hoped that someone out there was born to be with him, born for him.
This wasn’t what he thought having a soulmate would be like. Not what he pictured. He had to remind himself that he and Wooyoung didn’t fit the mold of typical soulmates. They were idols. Cursed to be with each other nearly every waking moment, day and night, but forced to maintain distance.
An incredibly ironic tragedy.
