Hyacinth stopped a few feet from the dance floor and turned to her sister. “Okay, have fun!” Hyacinth grabbed both of Francesca’s shoulders with a supportive smile.
“NO! Absolutely not!” Francesca grabbed her arm, stopping her from walking away. “You dragged me here.You’re not leaving me!”
Hyacinth offered her a sympathetic smile, “How are you going to find a sexy stranger to climb you like a tree if your little sister is attached to your hip all night?”
“Climb me like a-“ She shook her head, bewildered by the things her sister says sometimes.
Hyacinth laughed. “Get a drink at the bar, maybe join us on the dance floor. You’ll be okay without me, Fran.”

Modern AU Franchaela, with characterisation kept close to canon. All of the Bridgertons will make an appearance.
Francesca Bridgerton thought Spain was over. She thought Michaela Stirling belonged to the holiday: to sunlit streets, late-night bars, warm skin, dangerous smiles, and the kind of wanting Francesca had never quite known what to do with before.
Then her dog gets hurt, and the vet who walks through the clinic door is Michaela.
