Summary
When classes begin in the spring, Suguru Geto starts high school hoping to blend into the background. However, everything changes when he meets Satoru Gojo, his outgoing new classmate with a striking appearance. Geto wonders why he’s so intrigued by those eyes, which don’t seem to reflect the same sparkle as the smile Gojo tries to project.
Everything changes when, just a few days after starting school, Geto realizes that Gojo is one of his favorite writers of melancholic short stories, published under a pseudonym that isn’t very discreet. Gojo asks Geto to read his stories before they’re published, promising to keep the secret in exchange, since, for Gojo, his reputation as the usual popular, cheerful guy would be ruined if it were discovered that he’s the writer of such depressing stories.
Neither you nor I know how this story will unfold, or if their relationship will develop beyond simple companionship once they realize just how much they have in common.
