Sometimes, Hyeongjun still closes himself off.
It’s hard, for all of them, when Hyeongjun gets like this, but it’s especially hard for Jooyeon. Because in those moments, it only seems like Hyeongjun can talk to everyone else besides Jooyeon. He’ll let Seungmin pat his head, he'll respond to Gunil’s questions and he will even smile at Jiseok.
He barely bats an eye at Jooyeon.
Or: Jooyeon wants Hyeongjun to talk to him.

Summary
Jiseok was a beta. He’d made it all the way through puberty and to the big age of twenty-two without ever presenting as an alpha or omega, so that was what he was—a beta, like eighty percent of the population. But from how Jooyeon acted towards him sometimes, one would be forgiven for thinking otherwise.

Summary
“You seemed to be enjoying yourself at the concert,” Hyeongjun tacks on, the corners of his mouth curved up.
Jiseok leans heavy on the backrest of the chair, closer to Hyeongjun. “What do you mean?”
“You and your guitar were getting pretty personal. I was a little jealous.”
“Oh, right! That.” He gives a stuttering laugh.
Hyeongjun is referring to the moment Jiseok licked his guitar. He has done it a handful of times before. High off the adrenaline, the attention, the adoration, Jiseok has lifted his guitar and swiped his tongue across the strings just to hear the crowd scream. The first time he did it the guys teased him after, calling him an attention whore. It was true, and drunk off the fan's reactions, Jiseok didn't even care. He likes being desired, adored, loved, and Hyeongjun gives him all of that, but he still craves more. He lifts the hem of his shirt on stage to show off his toned stomach, he lays flat on the stage digging away at the power chords while the fans shriek, he licks his guitar like a whore.

Summary
Jooyeon’s job is ridiculously simple: serve drinks to the customers at Bemolle and try not to look like a lovesick idiot every time Kwak Jiseok takes the stage with his acoustic guitar and his stupidly perfect voice. And, obviously, Jooyeon is failing horribly at the second part.

Summary
As soon as he finishes filling in the last of the pink on his lips, Jooyeon says, “We should kiss.”
Hyeongjun balks. “Jooyeon-ah, I just did your lipstick.”
"But I think you’d look hot with it smeared on your face. Please?”
“You’re so annoying,” Hyeongjun says, ignoring the heat rising to his cheeks.
Jooyeon uses his grip on his waist to drag him forward and into his lap. Startled, Hyeongjun braces himself with one hand on Jooyeon’s shoulder and one hand on his chest, their faces now just inches apart. Being this close, he keeps breathing in lungfuls of Jooyeon’s scent, rain that floods him and makes him feel like he’s drowning. It’s Jooyeon in front of him, Jooyeon that’s holding him, but that awful, animal urge inside him keeps reminding him that it’s another Alpha’s hands that are touching him and holding him down. He digs his nails into Jooyeon’s skin through his jersey.
“Kiss me and I’ll tell you Jiseok’s dirty secrets, too.”

Despite Jiseok's hard work at getting Hyeongjun more comfortable in his identity, old habits die hard. Jooyeon decides that this is no longer a one-man operation.
