“And I am Iron Man” Tony’s voice filled with pride albeit laced with sadness and regret of things that could have rang through his ears, tying a knot in his stomach. He reached for Tony’s hand, trying to hold it, save who he had loved the most, persevere among all the pain and suffering they went through.
He did hold Tony’s hand as Tony snapped he faintly remembered, the cold metal of the gauntlet snapping into his forearm that was bleeding. Pieces of it wrapping around his wrist and enveloping his fingers mere seconds before he snapped them.
