Summary
Moriarty fakes his death and goes to the one place he knows Sherlock will never look for him, Texarkana, to build a better criminal empire with more experience. But the presumptuously easy goal of starting a brand new crime wave in America may turn out to be too much for him to handle. At the same time, the mysteriously wealthy rancher, Sebastian Moran, grows ever-curious about the suspicious stranger who's moved in just down the road.
A topsy turvy, man-I've-been-here-too-long mormor fic where Jim is blond, Sebastian is brunet, Jim is the tiger, and Sebastian fixes his bullet wound.

When he purchases the desiccated corpse of a cutting edge automaton, trashed by the military, he gets the idea that restoring this proprietary technology might just net him enough to escape the slums.

Summary
In 1995, along the monochromatic stretch of Wall Street, there is one firm that sets itself apart. Magpie Financial, led by a veritable economic prodigy: Jim Moriarty, 23 years old and a millionaire. He ought to be happily plowing the snowy slopes of Columbia but unable to hold down his relationship, Jim turns to a Madam by the name of Irene Adler to satisfy what no normal person can.
Meanwhile, a discharged, divorced, disinherited Sebastian Moran with crow's feet and a pill addiction sleeps in his car while his ex (nearly, he'll sign the papers any day now) wife cashes his pension checks in the name of alimony. While reacting to his situation in a perfectly understandable way, Sebastian is arrested and incurs a substantial bailout debt to his old college friend, Irene Adler. The only way to pay her back:
