"Look, it's your favorite color." I point at the light orange of the sunset.
I hear a faint rustling, and I turn over to see Peeta looking at me instead of the sky. "You remembered," he whispers.
"I remember everything about you," I reply, repeating his words to me. I expect to regret my honesty, feeling like I've shared too much. But I feel like I haven't shared enough. I want to tell him everything about himself, to prove how much I remember. But I don't.
We just watch each other until the orange fades into dusky blue.

In the years following the end of the Hunger Games, Katniss rekindles the fire between her and Peeta. Over time, they grow back together, relearning to love every part of each other. Moving on from the war isn't easy, especially when Katniss still revisits her greatest fears and worst memories every night. But Peeta is always there, keeping the nightmares away, keeping her safe.However, though the world is changed, it will never truly be safe.

I’ve never had the time for romance. But I can’t deny that it hurt when dad left us. As I had to step up as the head of the house, I never had the luxury of worrying about my trauma and the opportunity to heal. But college has given me the time, the space, the resources. And I’ve realized I hate my dad. I’ve also realized, after getting asked out after one class last spring and feeling some warmth right in the pit of my tummy, that I don’t completely hate it when guys look at me. When guys are attracted to me.
It's nice to feel wanted.
Now, looking in the mirror, even I could admit it: I was attractive. I wasn’t pretty. I definitely wasn't beautiful. But like my roommates said, I was hot. And I wanted to hear it from other people.
