Summary

Two people with vastly different upbringings in Mitras’ underbelly find their paths crossed. One: a cautious young woman trying to survive who has managed to stay away from crime and violence in the city. Striking up an unlikely friendship, they navigate the brutal reality of the underground as they meet in the middle of their two worlds. Through it all, they discover that beautiful things can live buried beneath the harshness of the city, and that those things might be worth nurturing.
