Seonghwa lets his eyes fall closed, trying to figure out when everything went wrong—Hongjoong’s excuses to linger after the shift. The random gifts. The nights he insisted on walking him home. Looking back, was he too naive not to see it for what it was? Maybe it was always going to end like this.
