“What about Seungmin-ssi?”
Jeongin’s mind stutters to a halt. Oh. That’s funny. Jeongin didn’t realise Seojun suddenly picked up on his friends’ warped sense of humour.
“Did the guys put you up to this?” he asks, and his voice sounds foreign to himself. “It’s just a little joke between us, I swear.”
Seojun’s frown only deepens. “They didn’t tell me anything, actually.”
Jeongin gulps, because he has that serious demeanour he adopts when someone tries to tell him that he’s wrong, and it reminds him so much of Seungmin that he almost finds it endearing. He doesn’t, he can’t, and his grip on Seojun’s hand only tightens. His mind spins with the possibility— no, the idea— nay, the hypothetical that they might… that he might… that he and Seungmin were…
Seungmin, his best friend, his confidant, the one person he convinced himself he couldn’t have.
“How did you, um, come to that conclusion, then?”
“I don’t know, Jeongin. I’m just not an idiot.”
or, Jeongin's boyfriend is almost-perfect, so he doesn't understand why he keeps thinking about his best friend.

"How much would it take for you to travel to Seoul with me, meet my family and pretend to be my boyfriend for the next three to five days?" He'd propositioned with the most even face anyone ever had when suggesting something like this. "Purely platonic. We'd hold hands, maybe the occasional kiss on the cheek. I'm not big on shows of affection, so no one will think that weird. I'm not opposed to being affectionately bullied, I know you prefer that."

Summary
Seungmin releases the breath he had been holding in a shuddering sigh. He feels Jeongin nosing at his neck, burying himself deeper into him. Then, he hears a soft, barely audible whisper.
"I love your skin."
He chuckles, he loves sleepy Jeongin because he loses the sharp edge he normally has, and easily gives in to affection and intimacy. And he'll say the most random shit.
"Yeah?" Seungmin indulges him, a cheeky smile on his lips and eyes still closed. "What's so great about it?"
"The smell," Jeongin breathes. "I love the smell of it."

Summary
Seungmin presented as an omega alone, behind the sterile walls of a company clinic.
That was both the beginning and the end of it.
