Max Caulfield and Chloe Price are living in New York together. Both are seeking escape, Chloe in various forms of self-medication, and Max in her increasingly vivid dreams. In one of her visions of the future, Max meets Daniel Diaz's apparition in his most embittered and violent incarnation. Daniel confides to her that he’s screwed things up badly (not for the first time, we might add) and attempts to convince Max to do “the right thing” for him. Against her better judgment, Max agrees to do Daniel’s bidding and now the whole world is in danger. Chapter 6 "Every story comes to an end" has been added.

This work is for those who travelled with the Wolf Brothers and still remember them.
Daniel Diaz has a very simple wish - he wants to see his mother again. But how far is he ready to go to get what he wants ? This is an on-going story which is roughly based on the events leading to the Blood Brothers ending of the Life is Strange 2 game. It's a rather long fanfic which introduces several new characters in the first few chapters. The action (a.k.a The Awesome Adventures of the Wolf Brothers in the Sonora Desert) starts from chapter 5 "Independence Day". Chapter 15 is the last chapter of the episode 1 "The Desert". The episode 2 "Bahía de los asesinos" where the Wolf Brothers meet their new friends and end up in foster care (of a sort) starts from Chapter 16. Chapter 23 "The Vortex Man" has been added.

Summary
Perceived perfection always comes with a price. 6 years after the events at the border and the death of his brother, Daniel is withering away living in isolation, still stunned from the grief and guilt of so much loss. When his powers suddenly start to become too much for his body to handle, he is transported back as his 16 year old self to when life wasn’t so difficult and the people he cared about most were alive and well. Forced to interact with his family as a complete stranger, he spends his time in Seattle under a bubbling unease that he doesn’t belong here, not anymore. In pursuit of finally processing the loss of his brother and father, Daniel risks losing himself as an imposter in a world that doesn’t belong to him.
