This had such a unique vibe!
First, actual full send on platonic soulmates and it’s AMAZING. Bro the soulmate concept itself is pretty creative, I haven’t seen this one before. The main point though is that the platonic soulmates make sense but nami can also have romantic relations and it’s so beautiful.
ALSO, love love love the way you write Namis voice. You channel her so well and it’s fantastic.
The crew is also fantastic and their little interactions are all so in character
This is just a fantastic fic and a fun time, kudos! ❤️🍊

Kudos to the author bc I’m convinced and converted.
It was so interesting to read how their relationship progressed, and I really like their characterizations in this story. This was just such a fascinating read and the author truly did justice to their fascinating fucked up but significant relationship.
Along with their fun interactions, the first sex scene was lowkey fire bc it was so fun while also being kinda fucked up. Like I was lowkey smiling throughout and idk it just gave me a sense of joy that I think a lot of sex scenes lack. Bro I may be kinda fucked up for saying this about an enemies to lovers pairing of all things 😭
Anyways! Last significant point is I love the last chapter and the ending. Like one of the comments said, the open ending makes so much sense, and I also do think it makes sense for their characters to not really NEED to play a role in the final battle or revolution or whatever happens.
Anyways! My eyes are opened, I’ll be starving for more, and SO many kudos 🪡

Hi again, yes I’m a sucker for bittersweet endings and sadder content. ANYWAYS, cool ass concept that I haven’t seen before on ao3 (nor have I seen frieren). I don’t really have much to say except that it was a pleasure to read and it gives me that angst and slight sadness I crave.

This definitely deserves the dead dove tag and is undoubtedly messed up. Like SO messed up with the foul trinity of incest, pedophilia, and grooming. But like… it’s so good.
Is this why people get into drugs? Is this the appeal of Epstein island? Bc this author does a great job at making these characters communicate, and have meaningful and realistic relationships, while also making it clear that yeah, they’re also really horrible people too (like alongside Cora saying that outright, I also appreciate that this fic doesn’t shy away from what the incest is. Like it acknowledges it’s there and that it’s bad but because of the nature of these relationships they’re doing it (or each other, I’m so funny) anyways).
I don’t even know how it’s possible that while being so guilty about reading incest, and underage liaisons, i also feel so much glee at the cool interactions in this fucked up world. Like doffy, Cora, and law seem so in character in this AU, like I can definitely see how they would have turned out this way. The interactions between them and that one celestial dragon, sengoku, pink, fujitora… like bro is COOKING.
Also slipping in sabaody, marineford, and the beginnings of dressrosa to make it kind of canon compliant? This author is SO GOOD. The open ending I believe also fits perfectly.
So yeah this is a fic full of juxtapositions. Fucked up content yet there are wholesome interactions. The world is just as bad but the relations between the main cast are actually improved.
I may feel foul and like my soul just sank down 5 levels of hell for reading this, but this fic is undoubtedly, indisputably a work of art -and I will be treating is as such. ❤️
