Minho brings a finger to the mole on the side of his neck. Seungmin’s eyes lock on his.
“Hyung,” he says, like a warning.

Summary
“We need to talk, is all,” Seungmin says, his eyes suddenly intense as he looks at Minho.
Best to feign innocence, which Minho only thinks he is good at doing. “What about?” he asks, fluttering his eyelashes as if to say What clicker? I haven’t been subconsciously training you to respond to a clicker I keep in my pocket at all. How silly.
Seungmin sputters, as if Minho is being ridiculous, playing at innocence. And, yeah, he is, but it was worth a shot. He exhales heavily, the apology already on the tip of his tongue.
“I’m sorry that I—”
“About the fact that you’re in love with me,” Seungmin hisses.
The world jerks to a stop. Standing there, pressing Seungmin against the kitchen counter by his hips and looking into his eyes, he wonders what had given him that impression. Minho was using Seungmin to his own ends, and sacrificing quite a lot to do so. Making every attempt to see Seungmin and spend time with him, being weirdly complimentary when necessary, even offering to do inane chores—
Oh.
Wherein Minho needs a subject for a school project, and Seungmin is the closest thing to a dog Minho can find.

“Hyung,” Seungmin giggled, the tipsyness had gone to his head, “We should make an agreement, like the ones they do in the movies.”
“What sort of agreement?” Minho asked, even though he knew he would agree to it anyway.
“If both of us are single by the time we reach fifty, we get married.”
Minho thought about moving the goalpost. Maybe thirty would be better, he could have argued. Too obvious, he realised. That would only be two years away for him, four for Seungmin. He had waited this long anyway, he figured he could handle another handful of years.
“Sure.”
“It’s a deal then!” Seungmin grabbed his glass to clink it against the one that Minho had clasped in his hand. His knuckles whitening from the strength he put into holding it, so sure he would drop it in moments to come when he realised what he had just agreed to.
Or: Minho agrees to a wedding pact with Seungmin, despite already being in love with him for the past six years. Now he has to come to terms with the fact that Seungmin would consider marrying him in the future, if only obstacles would stop getting in his way.
