Summary
Clark can smell the drugs the moment he steps inside. The problem is he doesn't realize who they're intended for until after Bruce Wayne has already ingested them.
He watches as Wayne inelegantly extracts himself from the arms of a woman just to stumble into a man and do the same thing over again. Switching to X-ray when the tight pack of people obscures his vision, he observes the man staggering through the room, heading for a side door tucked in a dark corner. When the heavy door swings shut behind him, Wayne puts a hand on the brick wall and slides to his knees, shoes scraping against the wet pavement.
Clark blinks, swallows, and navigates the crowd.

Summary
She is about to make her move when she sees a figure moving in the shadows. She ducks down, watching carefully as it gets closer, until finally there is enough light for her to make out a cape and pointed ears.
She narrows her eyes, slipping back into the darkness just as he pounces. The man is unskilled, clearly unprepared to face anyone stronger than a child, but even if he were she suspects the pointy-eared man would still be too much for him.
He fights like her old master, after all. This man could not compare to either of them.

"Bruce." Clark turns towards him, leaning back against a bank of consoles. "We're not actually going undercover. We don't need an elaborate backstory– if anything, it'll be harder to keep straight. It doesn't have to be complicated." He spreads his hands. "Here's a story: we're members of the same elite fighting force. After years of saving each other's lives in the field, we fell in love. That's it."
Bruce swallows past the almost-truth of it. In Clark's warm smooth radio voice, it sounds plausible. It sounds like something that could happen.

If it was any one of his siblings, he would've benched them and told them to stay home. Nope. No patrolling or missions for you, because you are sick. But the crime in Bludhaven wasn't going to fight itself. Well- no, it would. That was how gang wars started. And gang wars led to more crime and people dying and then it was like an infinite loop of crime fighting itself leading to more crime.
Nope. No night off for Nightwing.
He stood by the coffee machine, waiting for it to do its job. One more coffee would fix things, surely. Suuurely. He just had to avoid the watchful eyes of Barbara, before-
