Summary
“Tell me again how it's gonna go,” Louis said, unable to hide the weakest of shakes in his voice. His face was near perfectly commanded, only a faint wince at the corners of his eyes and mouth betraying the remainder of burns, now faded from view.
Poor thing.
“One swing. They come off clean. I close off the ends.”

Summary
It had been five nights of endless gnawing discomfort before he saw her. A flash of yellow in his vision, a shock of curls, a glint of fangs too sharp to comprehend. He covered his eyes and prayed like he had as a child: please Lord, make this feeling go away.
She didn't care.
Louis, the 1960s, his imagination, and the monster he lives with.

Summary
He couldn’t look Riccardo in the eye, but Riccardo was kneeling in front of Amadeo to speak to him on his level. It was awfully kind. “You've just eaten rotten fruit, Amadeo. Didn't anyone ever tell you that you can't do that?” His voice was soft. Amadeo was pretty sure he was being earnest. “It made you sick, but you'll be fine. It's like too much wine,” he said, smiling again now. “You know what that's like. Just let it pass itself through.”
Armand, fruit, sickness, and compulsive eating.

Summary
“I'm not calling you Amadeo, I'm sorry.”
I need it, Maître. I need it. I need it.
Louis, soft green eyes in the lamplight of his apartment made softer by the look on his face, reached out his hand to touch Amadeo’s face, pausing before he made contact for a moment to give him a chance to move or flinch away. He always did that when Armand would lose himself, his beloved Louis.
Amadeo wished he would hit him instead.
Armand starts feeling like Amadeo in bed.

Summary
"this is ...nice." Jon said into the cool night air. Martin smiled over at him.
"See, I told you getting out of the archives would do you good!"
"Don't push it. I said it was nice, not that I didn't want to go back to work," he laughed. It was soft, a little weak, but he did and it made Martin's heart grow a little lighter.
Martin manages to get Jon out of the Archives long enough to drive out to a lake and hang out on the dock. set somewhere in season 3
